WHY PACS

Brock Sambolec founded PACS in 2020 to meet a clear need for healthy, affordable, and indestructible housing. After spending 25 years witnessing the problems that plague traditional building methods, Brock set out to find a better way to build for the future. He settled on concrete modular homes.

WHY CONCRETE:

Why do you think the Pantheon, constructed in the second century CE, is still standing after centuries of natural disasters and conflicts? It was constructed with concrete.

We believe concrete is the best material available to build for the future. It has numerous advantages over building with both wood and steel. Concrete:

  • Is proven to be virtually fireproof
  • Is water resilient
  • Doesn’t rust when exposed to moisture
  • Resists insects, like termites
  • Resists rot and rust
  • Is airtight by nature
  • Has excellent sound insulation
  • Stabilizes internal home temperature

Brock Sambolec, Founder + CEO

Brock Sambolec is the founder and CEO of PACS. Known by his friends and colleagues as a “jack-of-all-trades,” Brock started his own construction company immediately after high school. Throughout his career, he’s done everything from plumbing to remodeling low-income housing facilities to meet ADA regulations.

After two decades of experience in the construction industry, particularly in affordable housing, Brock had a realization. After years of seeing the impact of flooding, mold, deteriorating products, and water damage, he began to see that traditional construction methods are failing the housing industry. This revelation led him down a path of building out of the box.

Since he founded PACS in 2020, Brock has been on a mission to change the trajectory of affordable housing and build for the future.

Brock is a family man who resides in the Pocono Mountains with his wife and two daughters, where you can find him rock climbing, gardening, and catching up on the latest health trends.
